How Does Dream Pools FL's Design-to-Build Process Work?

At Dream Pools, building a new custom pool is a journey we take with you from the very first conversation. We begin by capturing your vision and style through a creative design session, develop a tailored concept around your yard, and bring it to life with immersive 3D renderings in our showroom, all before a single shovel hits the ground. Once you approve the final design, our own crew executes every stage of construction with precision, quality, and care.

Every pool we build is constructed new from the ground up. The Build

What Are the 8 Stages of Pool Construction?

Once your design is approved, our in-house crew takes over and builds your new pool from the ground up. Every project moves through the same eight stages, so you always know exactly where your build stands and what comes next.

STAGE 01

Evaluation

We assess your property, review setbacks and utilities, and confirm the design is feasible before a single permit is filed.

STAGE 02

Excavation

Our team excavates the pool shell to the approved depth and shape. Soil is removed and the site is prepared for structural work.

STAGE 03

Form and Rebar Installation

Steel rebar is laid and tied to create the structural skeleton of your pool. Forms are set to define the exact shape of the shell.

STAGE 04

Shotcrete Work

High-pressure shotcrete is applied over the rebar frame to form the walls and floor of your pool. This is what gives the shell its strength and permanence.

STAGE 05

Tile and Coping

We install the waterline tile and coping around the pool perimeter. These finishes define the look of your pool and create a clean, finished edge at the top of the shell.

STAGE 06

Pool Deck Installation

The surrounding deck is formed and finished in your selected material. Proper drainage and expansion joints are installed to handle South Florida weather.

STAGE 07

Plaster Finish

The interior of the pool is plastered in your chosen color and texture. Once complete, the pool is filled and chemistry is balanced before we hand over.

STAGE 08

Clean Up and Completion

The site is fully cleaned, final inspections are completed, and we walk you through every piece of equipment. Your pool is ready to use from day one.
